Niall “Boom Boom” Kennedy, or Basil as he is known locally, is a big hit with us here at Whizzy Towers.

Basil starting boxing with Gorey Boxing Club at the tender age of 7. He boxed with the Irish amateur team from 2010 to 2015 and then went professional at the age of 34 and has achieved a lot since then.

Working full time as a Garda, Basil is a huge champion of the Gorey community and takes every opportunity to promote it.

We are proud to be able to support Basil and will be behind him for every fight (well behind him!).
