Fibre Broadband
Advantages

- Installed and maintained by Fibre network operator, SIRO, NBI, etc so fibre network repairs are not in Whizzy Internet’s control.
- Can be affected by strong winds, falling branches can break the fibre cable
- Slow repair times, up to four weeks if fibre cable is broken
Fixed Wireless Broadband
Advantages
- Installed and maintained by Whizzy Internet engineers
- Quick and easy to install
- Rapid repair times
Disadvantages
- Performance can degrade in extreme weather like heavy rain or snow.
- Needs line of sight to the transmitter, growing trees near premises may obstruct the signal path over time and therefore degrade broadband performance
